CE 21.333CE 0:24.624Unmute the basses From here until the end, Chet was showing possible chord substitutions with no particular time. I created the rhythm in character with the rest of the tune.Mute the basses again!OChet recorded a documentary in the UK and he improvised two verses of a standard blues in A as an example. Then he played very ad lib one more verse demostrating chord substitutions.

I found it to be really charming and decided to transcribe it. It doesn't have any name so I've decided to call it "Chet's Blues".

After completing this transcription and thinking about it quite a bit, I think that a more interesting way to play it would be to take the last 12 bars and play them first, maybe even rubato as Chet did in his demostration. Then play the 1st and 2nd verses in strict time.

I didn't add the chord diagrams as there is a video. Per Chet's admission there's only 4 chords per pass (although one or two get played in a couple of positions.

It's really a shame we don't have more little jewels like this to learn from.c0 %).38Chet Atkinsard001101110000=007:>899<>7F000P042S0/00000000000001EE4/1111030::::H<1000010`0020000000008V0000000Page &p / &n&c&2&t &c&6&s &r&3&m &r&3&t - &3&s
